RIBORDONE

Ribordone Power Plant

Cient: F.lli Ronc srl
Power: 130 KVA
Year: 2023/2024

The completed works are located in the Municipality of Ribordone (TO), specifically from the Talosio area (upstream), where the intake structure and the collection chamber are situated, down to the Crosa area (downstream), where the power station and the return structure are located.

The trap intake structure in reinforced concrete is embedded in a weir made of rocks and cement.

The loading tank is made of reinforced concrete and is entirely underground.

From the loading tank originates the (forced) adduction pipe to the power plant (DN 400 mm in PE AD), which has a development of about 1,450 m, is completely underground and ends at the power plant building.

The power plant building was built by renovating the existing building of the former Crosa mill and the related infrastructures to contain the turbine and all the works and equipment necessary for its proper functioning.

Following the passage inside the turbines, the water is collected in a drainage channel that returns the water to the stream. The return-flow channel consists of an entirely underground PVC pipe.
