Introd weather station

In order to optimise and rationalise farmland irrigation operations, the weather station was established at Introd.
The meteorological data collected is recorded in a database and automatically analysed by a software program which contains an algorithm able to establish the frequency and the duration of overhead irrigation operations.
The results of the analysis are processed by another application at the Remote Control Centre, which activates the irrigation apparatus.

The types of data collected are:

Wind speed and direction
Temperature
Solar irradiation
Relative humidity
Rain
